Thanks for stopping by and commenting at my place. Of course I had to come check you out here! I'm doing the natural thing too. My hair is at a stand-still with growth, but I think it's a lot to do with my bubby breastfeeding and taking all my vitamins too. I like the information here. You ladies are beautiful. Keep doing what you're doing!
God bless, Milcah

Coconut oil was one of the first things that I discovered that my natural hair loved. The best part is that it smells so good lol. =]

I mix organic honey, coconut oil, jojoba oil and hair cholesterol for a deep conditioner two to three times every month.

Thanks for checking out my blog, I'm now subscribed to yours! I've been looking for more natural hair blogs. I've been natural for two years now, and am so happy with my decision. I've been going through my process alone, mainly using the internet at a resource, so it's great to see that you guys are doing this as a pair.

Thanks for the comment, and I will definitely follow your blog. I've been natural since I was 16, so I'm going on 6 years of natural hair, and sometimes it gets hard to maintain. I have a thick ringlet type curls, so anything I find that will be helpful will definitely be an asset to me :D

Again, thanks for stopping by.

I just recently started using coconut oil on my hair. I always used it for cooking and for my skin.
Now I mix it with other oils and shea butter to make a whipped butter that is outta sight!!!

I use this for cooking. I also use it for my hair and my daughter's hair. I use the same brand you have shown. It has a nice little shine to natural hair.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, and feel free to come back anytime!

As far as this coconut oil, I'm in love with it! I use this exact brand pictured, and it loves my relaxed ends and my natural roots. If you let it sit, it makes your hair soft and playable! :-)

Also, it works well for your skin. I use it on my legs in the summer when I run out of lotion, and it's not heavy at all.

Get you some coconut oil!

next step, i guess, is cooking with it!

I was using this brand of coconut oil, but I ordered a gallon from Mountain Rose Herbs for $37 and it turned out to be cheaper in the long run. Just make sure whatever brand you use, it is virgin and unrefined!

It is the best for skin as well. I mix it with a little shea butter for my skin.
