Yan here !!!
LADIES!! .. I have recieved alot of request for my hair routine and the number one thing everyone needs to remember...
RULE # KEEP IT SIMPLE.... ALL LADIES WITH LONG HAIR HAVE SIMPLE ROUTINES.
I HAVE FALLEN DEEPLY IN LOVE WITH AUBREYS ORGANICS HONEYSUCKLE CONDITIONER..- my curls are extremely soft, light and moistured.
Shea butter- Once I apply the conditioner I apply shea butter to my edges and my ends.. this seals the cuticle :)
100 percent natural
ingredients below..
Into a blend of Aubrey's Coconut Fatty Acid Base the following herbals have been compounded: chrysanthemum, angelica, rosa mosqueta rose hip seed oil, honeysuckle oil, horsetail, coltsfoot, ginkgo leaf, ginseng root, rosemary oil and sage oil. Preserved with citrus seed extract and vitamins A, C and E. No synthetics of any kind. Not tested on animals.
Aubrey Organic products are full of great "hair growing" herbs as well.
Beware :-- its not cheap at all... 10 bucks- Whole Foods. Vitamin Shoppe - 9.00
I co-wash with it everyday and the bottle is lasting me about two weeks.. maybe a little longer. we will see.
I love my cheap herbal essences... but Aubreys is sooo worth the extra 4 bucks.
Also, Every once in a while I will add Beyond The Zone Noodle Head.
Gives great definition to the curls... :)
Well thats all.. I just let it air dry in the Georgia heat .. and go on with my day... :)
Later Gators

Hey ladies! Great blog. I'm loving the natural look :-)
I stopped getting perms about five years ago, but I finally started learning how to take care of my natural hair about a year ago and since then it's all been uphill. Good luck with the blog!
Natural is beautiful! Keep the work up ladies..
Hey thanks for the love!! :0)
hey thanks for the comment
I love your blog!
And it helps that I am attempting (for the 5th time) to grow out my perm.
This should be a big help.
BTW, Miss Jessie's buttercreme is heavenly (I saw it in another post).
Hi ladies. Thank you so much for visiting my blog. What an interesting blog you have! I have not relaxed my hair since 2003. When I was 'shorn' to my new growth, it was even shorted than yours! But I liked it. Don't be fooled by what you see now, lol.
Loving the blog, if only my hair could be managed without all the chemicals and shiz!
Anyways, I'm not gonna lie- I still perm my hair but the hot comb is rapidly becoming my best friend!
You're blogs' very motivating though, keep it up.
Hi Ladies. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. You have a very interesting blog. I have a relaxer myself but I want to help my daughter. I'm not sure where to start. She has natural curls and I've been using just for me products but she's growing up now and I need a new hair regimen. Any suggestions? Would love to hear your ideas. Thanks.
I love your blog! By the way, I just started going natural myself. It's not easy! I've never tried Aubreys before. I'll try some!

I like some of the AO products too, like honeysuckle rose and the GPB set.

Hi, 10 bucks is a lot for a mama with kids. Is there anything equivalent? My hair is naturally curly, but mostly I wash it and through in some leave in conditioner. I used to use Paul Mitchell but the coins are small now so i just go with whatever is cheap:( I'm open to all suggestions. Thanks for dropping by my site:)
i just love both your curls. thanks for this semi step by step on how to.
HeyyGirlss!!*

Hey, thanks for visiting my site. I went natural several years ago, and then started the vicious cycle of perming.
I wish I had the strength and the courage to do it again, but you twokeep motivated. Maybe...
Thanks :)
hi ladies great blog! i have long hair & i just startes texturizing instead of perming so far so good! Thanx 4 showing luv ill be sure to check u guys out as well!
love the blog. i am transitioning at the moment to natural hair.this blog is perfect to follow!!!
Hey there!
I have heard about shea butter at so many blogs and I have never tried it! I need to go and get some!

You are invited to stop by my forum and share whenever you'd like!!
loving the blog!
I can't go without perming for more than 2 months. 3 months max.
And that's only when I have weave or cornrows in.
Have any ideas on keeping my medium to coarse thick hair manageable without perming or constantly hotcombing/blowdrying/straightening it???
:-) thanx for showing my blog some love :-)
so i've been back and forth between natural and permed since I was 11 and my most recent perm was about 6 months ago...
so i'm kinda going through the same process of regrowth. I'm doing the braids thing and it works for me ( mostly cause I'm lazy)
and wen I do my curls I use IC fantasia anti frizz serum or their hair polish. it gives them definition and it holds the style with out hardening ur hair. and they have an organic line now 2.
and i do recommend doctor miracle products.. they are expensive but very worth it.
