Sometimes you can find these products at TJ Maxx. I happened across Khoret Amen Herbal Shampoo with Sea Moss and I love it. I have seen people complain about the fact that it does not lather much, but lather does not determine if a shampoo is cleaning your hair or not. My hair feels incredible after I use this shampoo and it even seems to increase shine too.

Hey ladies,I haven't used CD on myself since going natural, but I used the Hair Milk mixed with a little bit of Tui Oil to fluff my sons fro in the morning and to smooth his hair into a pineapple at bedtime.A bit pricey, which is why I haven't re-purchased but I really liked the results and the Tui Oil smells soooooo good! A little of it goes a long way, so the bottle will last quite a while. I also tried the Black Vanilla Hair Smoothie, but I wasn't WOW'd by it.P.S. The Almond Cookie perfume smells delicious!!!

These products are good, but you must warn the economical couscous that these products are a little pricey...unless you can find them at TJ Maxx, etc.

I have a few CD products...like the hair milk and hair butter. Smells good, expensive though and I'm curious if I can get the same results with a cheaper product.

Why is it better not to have petroleum?

Whew, Tui's scent is an aphrodisiac! I've tried several of the CD products. I'm not convinced the leave-in does anything for my hair. I like the honey hair butter and regular Tui oil.

@evelyn ~ petroleum (and mineral oil) is known to clog your pores and putting it on your scalp/hair is not beneficial. Both are by-products of gasoline. Here's some more info:

Honestly, I don't like Carol's Daughter. Different things work for different people but I didn't like the effect that it had on my hair. Plus for the quality it left my hair in...the cost wasn't worth it.

I use the hair milk and the healthy hair butter almost daily. I've tried a few other products, but they do make my hair shiny and keep it moisturized. Not to mention it helps define my curls.

All of you made very valid points.....I have heard many say they didn't like them or they loved them. That they were soo expensive...and not really worth it.. My cousin did recommend the tui oil mixed with aloe vera gel. It makes your curls really pop. Other than the hair products... I LOVE THE SKIN PRODUCTS.. THEY ARE BETTER THAN EVERYTHING SHE HAS. TRY THEM PLEASE.. ALL THE BODY BUTTERS DO WONDERS. THANK YOU FOR THE COMMENTS.
